Welcome to the home of "Poodle Antics"

We are Christopher and Mari Annett along with Andre and Babette our Toy Poodles. Our home has been filled with Poodle Antics since the day that Andre and Babette joined our family one year ago.
They were born on the 4th April 2006 at the Issen Kennels in Yass which is owned and operated by Linda Robertson. Andre and Babette are brother and sister. Their parents are Rebel Raider and Sophies Red Star.
Their pedigree names are:
Issen Just James (Andre)
Issen Jingellic (Babette)

They attended puppy school at the Hall Vet and have had a few private procedures carried out there at later times. We have learnt so much from our small “Fur Babies”. They give us unconditional love and loyalty and in return we pander to their everyneeds, not that they are spoilt….ha ha ha !!! just joking :)

Our home has been converted to accommodate the ‘twins’.  Last Winter when they were very small, we set up the main bathroom as their nursery.  This enabled them to be inside whilst we were at work during the day.  A child gate was fitted across the doorway so they could see out but not escape into the house and set the alarm off. The heating was also a priority so the little babies didn’t freeze to death. Christopher, bless his cotton socks, also set up ‘puppy cam’ by mounting a web camera on top of the child gate and we were able to dial in from the internet and see what was happening in the nursery.

Talking of heating, we were having issues with our ducted heating system ( didn’t work ) for a couple of weeks prior to Andre and Babette coming home. The service company were rushed off their feet and kept putting us off in favour of fixing heating for families with children, finally after freezing for what seemed like forever, Christopher rang the company and said that our ‘twins’ were due to come home tomorrow and we desperately need the heating working. The service technician arrived that night and worked by torch light to get the system working for us. Did we feel bad?, not really, but he did give us several funny looks as we are a tad old to be having children :)

We have met so many people through our Fur Babies. People stop us when we are out walking to fuss over them and stopping at the traffic lights can be fun…two little faces peeking through the window.

We take them to My Bone Café every couple of weeks for a doggie chino and they just love the social interaction with the other patrons. Of course we have a mug of coffee and a little something just to keep them company :)

To anyone thinking of getting a dog, I would highly recommend a Poodle. They are very intelligent, loving, playful, loyal and always sure to bring a smile with the ‘Antics’ they get up to.

There is not a day goes by that we don't comment on how blessed we are to have Andre and Babette in our lives.

Cheers,

Christopher & Mari.
