Description of Walk - This walk will be one of the most pleasant experiences your poodles will have ever had. So if you haven't ventured on a poodle walk before then this is the walk I'd encourage you to do. It does cover part of the terrain that we encountered on the February walk but it is different in that we won't be commencing the walk from the other side of the lake. Everyone who attended February's walk agreed that their poodles had had a great time whether they were the ones on lead or the ones who were allowed to run free. We intend to meander from the parking area adjacent to the boat ramp around the grassy inlets and beach sections and we will not be going on the shared cycle path at all. If you are on a time limit you can make this walk whatever length in time you'd like but in total the length of the walk will not be much more than an hour.  So all in all this is an easy going stroll or meander where the poodles can enjoy the thrill of the birdlife and where some may even be tempted to go swimming. The only apology I make is that I am holding two walks in a row that are on the north side. However this did not deter four of our members who were on the last walk as they travelled from Kambah, Chifley and Calwell. Once the warmer weather is behind us I will get back to organising the serious two hour walks which will be held all over Canberra.

Opportunity for Refreshment - Same as last month - except we will have to drive to the McCafe. If Harry comes I'm sure Sharon can be persuaded to indulge him in pancakes and maple syrup again!!
