Where to Meet/Park - John Knight Memorial Park off Townsend Place which is off Aikman Drive , Belconnen - Yellow Pages - Map Ref 38 B14 or Google Map

Duration of Walk - An hour or so depending on the temperatureDescription of Walk - This is an easy going walk mostly on man made paths with diversions every now and again for the poodles to explore nooks and crannies at their leisure. We are not walking all the way around Ginninderra Lake even though I have done this several time over my holidays - so hopefully Rocky's reduced waistline will be noticed!!. Hopefully at this time of the morning there won't be two much traffic in the way of cyclists and joggers but one must be aware that we will be walking on a shared cycle path.

Opportunity for Refreshment - If there are any interested members wishing to have a coffee or bite to eat there is a McCafe close by - where we can have the poodles sit with us on the veranda.

Hope some members are willing to be early risers to go on this our first poodle walk for 2008.
