Due to the open day at DAS the Poodle walk has moved to the Sunday. Poodle walk For Saturday 13th April 2008 - Curtin and Surrounds Time: 2.00 pm Where to Meet/Park:North Curtin District Playing Fields, Dunstan Street, Curtin - Yellow Pages Map Ref 68 C2 or Google Map Duration of the Walk: Approximately 2 hours Description of Walk: This is another favourite walk of the club's and I'm sure members who haven't been on the poodle walks before will find that their poodles would absolutely love this walk. We start the walk on the ovals at the Curtin Playing Fields and for those members who like walking on pathways there is a path that extends for maybe about a third of this walk with the rest being on natural country trails with great natural views to take in. This walk has been popular in the past as it is fairly easy going with only a couple of graduated inclines to get the heart working - that is for the humans and as far as the poodles are concerned this walk is a great adventure especially if given the chance to have a free run now and again. Opportunity for Coffee/Refreshment: Cafe at the Curtin shops |
