Brushing your dog is not only theraputic for you and your fur baby, but also quite a bonding experience.

This is written instructions on how to brush your dog properly so that when take your fur baby to visit your groomer they don’t have to go through the painfull expierience of being dematted or having to be clipped down!   

I teach my customers how to comb and brush their dogs in ten minutes a day.

10 areas to comb through with metal comb.

Placing your dog on a towel on top of a counter or the dryer may be easier for you and the dog.

1. Comb through right ear. Slicker through tangles that are found.
2. Comb through left ear. Slicker through tangles that are found.
3. Comb through right skirt. Slicker through tangles that are found.
4. Comb through left skirt. Slicker through tangles that are found.
5. Slicker through the neck and chest area.
6. Slicker downward all sides of right front leg.
7. Slicker downward all sides of left front leg.
8. Slicker downward all sides of right back leg.
9. Slicker downward all sides of left back leg.
10. Gently and carefully use comb to FIND TANGLES on all sides of tail. When you find a tangle THEN USE THE SLICKER TO TAKE CARE OF IT. Try your best to hold the hairs between the tangle and the dog's skin so that it doesn't hurt.

Your dog is now tangle free and worthy of snuggling and cuddling :)
